Which Devices and Apps Work with ROXFIT? The Complete Compatibility Guide

Most HYROX athletes train with more than one device. A Garmin on the wrist, Strava on the phone, Apple Health running in the background. The question we get asked constantly is: does ROXFIT connect to mine?

Here is the definitive answer.

What ROXFIT connects to

ROXFIT integrates with five platforms. Each connection is built specifically for how HYROX athletes train and race, not bolted on for the sake of a longer feature list.

Garmin

Does ROXFIT work with Garmin? Yes.

Connect your Garmin account inside ROXFIT and two things happen. First, you can push ROXFIT workouts directly to your Garmin device so you can run them from your wrist on race day or in the gym. Second, completed activities sync back into ROXFIT automatically, building your training history without manual entry.

How to connect:

  1. Go to Profile, then Settings, then Integrations
  2. Tap Garmin and follow the sign-in steps
  3. Once connected, use the sync options to push workouts or import activities

Garmin is the most popular wearable among HYROX athletes and the deepest integration ROXFIT offers. If you train with a Garmin, this connection is worth setting up.

Apple Watch

Does ROXFIT work with Apple Watch? Yes.

Pair your Apple Watch and you can send ROXFIT workouts to your watch to run natively. When you finish, the completed workout syncs back into ROXFIT automatically.

How to connect:

  1. Make sure the ROXFIT app is installed on your Apple Watch via the Watch app on your iPhone
  2. Go to Profile, then Settings, then Integrations, then Apple Watch
  3. Confirm the connection and ensure Bluetooth is active during workouts

Apple Health (iOS)

Does ROXFIT work with Apple Health? Yes.

On iPhone, ROXFIT connects to Apple Health to import and export workout and health data. This keeps your activity history consistent across apps without re-entering anything manually.

How to connect:

  1. Go to Profile, then Settings, then Integrations
  2. Tap Apple Health and grant the required permissions
  3. Choose what data ROXFIT can read and write

Health Connect (Android)

Does ROXFIT work with Health Connect? Yes.

On Android, ROXFIT connects to Health Connect (Google's health data platform) in the same way. Import and export workout data across apps.

How to connect:

  1. Make sure Health Connect is installed on your Android device
  2. Go to Profile, then Settings, then Integrations
  3. Tap Health Connect and grant the required permissions

Strava

Does ROXFIT work with Strava? Yes!

ROXFIT syncs with Strava directly. To get your workouts to display with splits in Strava, you need a compatible wearable — Garmin or Apple Watch — connected to your ROXFIT account. The wearable acts as the bridge: ROXFIT syncs to your wearable, and your wearable syncs to Strava.

If you do not have a Garmin or Apple Watch paired with ROXFIT, Strava will not receive or display workout data.

How to Connect ROXFIT to Strava

  1. Open the ROXFIT app and go to your home screen.
  2. Tap the Profile icon in the bottom-right corner.
  3. Tap the Settings cog in the top-right corner.
  4. Tap Connected Apps & Devices.
  5. Tap Strava.
  6. Tap the orange Connect with Strava button at the bottom of the screen.
  7. Authorise ROXFIT to connect to your Strava account.
  8. You'll be redirected to a confirmation page in your browser — once confirmed, return to the app.

That's it! Your ROXFIT workouts and HYROX races will now automatically post to Strava.

What ROXFIT does not support

These are the devices and platforms we get asked about most. None of them are currently supported.

If your device is on this list, you can still use ROXFIT fully. Race results, training plans, PaceMe, and HYPE all work without a connected device. You will just need to log workouts manually if you train on one of these platforms.

Why the list is short

ROXFIT is built for HYROX athletes, not for the entire fitness market. That means we build integrations that are actually useful for how HYROX athletes train and race, rather than ticking a compatibility box with every device on the market.

The integrations that exist with wearables are built deeply. Garmin, Apple Watch, and the health platforms they connect to such as Strava and Garmin Connect cover the majority of athletes who compete in HYROX events. When new integrations are added, they will be driven by where HYROX athletes actually are.
